Seungri, a former member of BIGBANG, was sentenced to three years in prison at a military court and arrested on charges of arranging prostitution for foreign investors and gambling abroad worth 2 billion won.
The General Military Court of the Ground Operations Command sentenced Seungri to three years in prison and ordered to collect more than 1.15 billion won on nine charges, including prostitution.
The court ruled, "The defendant arranged prostitution for foreign investors several times and obtained profits from it."
He added, "The crime of using Burning Sun's company assets as the private property of the shareholders and the fact that he instructs assault because he feels bad because of an argument is also not good."
