report came from delivery drivers who supply goods to convenience stores.

They are working frantically due to the increase in the amount of logistics, but the 'tardiness fee' was deducted from their pay because they arrived late at the store or did not report the arrival.

Reporter Han So-hee covered the details of the report.

Logistics drivers load goods on the truck without a break.

These are items to be delivered to 20 convenience stores, but before they even leave, their faces are soaked in sweat.

[Mr A/Delivery Driver: Because it is a hot day.

This is nothing.

Sometimes it's not just one or two people who fall.

The person next to me was exhausted yesterday and collapsed and was admitted to the hospital.]

More than the heat, it is time and a fight that bothers the delivery driver.

Whether you have a lot or a small amount of goods, each convenience store has to deliver it within a set time.

[Mr B/Delivery Driver: Because there are so many things in summer.

Since the time to come out is a little shorter (pressure), there is something like that.

There are many things.]

However, last June, 9 of the delivery drivers at the logistics center here received their salaries with up to 200,000 won deducted from their original amount.

It is that the subcontractors who contracted with them took away the so-called 'tardiness fee' that was not even in the contract.

[Mr C/Delivery Driver: Before deducting such things, it is correct to tell us in advance. Now (articles) at most 200,000 won, 170,000 won, 160,000 won, 120,000 won. 50,000 won and 30,000 won were deducted like this.] I had the

drivers write down the arrival time of the store on the location tracking app every time, but not only did they not arrive within the set time, but also if they forgot to enter it, the tardiness fee of 5,000 won per case was deducted from their salary. that has been reduced.

The subcontractor is based on the contract with the distribution center.

If an item arrives late at the store, a fine in the form of a fine is to be paid to the distribution center, but the burden is being passed on to the drivers.

Only one of the subcontractors said that they would only return the money that was stolen this month, but none of them would remove the tardiness fee rule.
