It is a city in southern Taiwan.

The 9th typhoon 'Lupit' caused a lot of rain, causing flooding, and the bridge was swept away by the overflowing water.

Typhoon 'Lupit', which passed Taiwan, is currently advancing northeast in the sea 280 km southwest of Kagoshima, Japan.

It is expected to land in the Kyushu region of Japan around midnight today (8th) and then pass through the Japanese archipelago.

It will be closest to Korea around midnight, but the radius of strong winds of the typhoon is 250 km, so Korea is out of direct influence.

However, the typhoon, which rotates counterclockwise, is blowing strong east winds that sprinkle rain in Korea.

In Gangneung, it rained more than 100mm today, and some roads were flooded.

By tomorrow, 50-150mm of heavy rain is expected in Yeongdong and Yeongnam, Gangwon-do, and more than 200mm in some areas.

A heavy rain warning has been issued for Goseong, Sokcho, Gangneung, and a heavy rain advisory for Yeongdong and Yeongnam in the rest of Gangwon.

Waves are also high in the sea, so a storm warning is in effect for the southern coast and a typhoon warning for the distant seas of the southern sea, and it is expected to gradually expand to the East Sea.

The Korea Meteorological Agency predicted that strong winds and swell waves would come on the East Coast for the time being, as the typhoon penetrates Japan and escapes into the far seas of the East Sea.
