Yesterday (6th) around 10:20 pm, 10 cars and trucks collided one after another at the 24.6km point of Jinan IC in the direction of Iksan on the Iksan Jangsu Expressway, Gwansan-myeon, Wanju-gun, Jeollabuk-do.
Two people were killed and six were seriously injured in the accident.
The police and 119 rescue team, who were dispatched after receiving the report, are controlling the surroundings and carrying out rescue operations.
Police are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
