Group A, a middle school student, suffered serious injuries for 8 weeks before fighting with a 40-year-old coach at the Taekwondo arena in February.

The start of the incident was that group A spoke annoyed words to the director's cleaning instructions.

[Victim's brother/witness: My brother said 'It's ridiculous' and then suddenly (the director) hit the head two or three times, slapped the cheek and the back of the head…

.]

Afterwards, the taekwondo director suggested that middle school students compete in taekwondo.

They were not wearing proper protective gear, such as head restraints.

[Victim's brother/witness: My younger brother attacked first, and the master (director) also attacked, but I was hit in the head by a kick, but I couldn't get it right, but the master hit the chin one more time with a back kick...

.] The

junior high school student fainted on the spot.

As a result of the hospital diagnosis, he suffered a wound of 8 weeks anterior, in which two jaws were broken.

Five months after the incident, I was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and was diagnosed with the need to have my teeth pulled out in the future.

[Taekwondo Director: The children I taught were hurt, so I'm sorry and I'm sorry... .]

At that time, it was explained that Gyeorugi had been a scheduled training before.

He added that the reason he did not wear protective gear was because the disciples were uncomfortable wearing them.

However, the family of a middle school student reported the director to the police, saying it was suspected of intentional assault.
