Google and the mobile messaging app are currently working on tools that will enable this functionality,

Monday.
The option under development will work with the app which would be titled Switch to Android.
This will therefore aim to simply transfer its iOS data to an Android device.
Users just need to scan a QR code with their iPhone to launch the WhatsApp application.
The operation will then begin.
