Daley's fondness for crocheting was confirmed this Monday, this time with a more than advanced work: a jersey from the British Olympic team.
The British jumper has taken advantage of the pull of his talent with needles and has launched a fundraiser for a brain tumor foundation.
"My father died in 2011 of a brain tumor and since then I have been trying to raise as much money as possible to help research a cure and treatments. It is the leading cause of cancer death for those under 40 and we have so much! more to learn! ", the athlete presented his initiative.
Among the more than 550 donors, Daley has raffled a rainbow sweater knitted by himself.
Fundraising has now ended, with more than 6,700 euros raised.
