The Incheon Police Agency announced today (1st) that it recently held a traffic safety review committee and decided to restrict the passage of trucks around Shingwang Elementary School.



This measure is only enforced from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays in consideration of the children's commute time, and trucks of 4.5 tons or more, large special vehicles, and construction machinery vehicles that are subject to the application will be subject to Suin Intersection, Singwang Intersection, Neungan Samgeori, and Inha University Hospital during this time. 1.1 km of traffic between intersections is restricted.



The police said, "We plan to complete the installation of related facilities during the summer vacation together with the local government and implement a traffic restriction for trucks from the beginning of September to coincide with the start of the second semester."



Earlier, in the school zone in front of Shingwang-cho, a 10-year-old Ms. A, who was crossing a crosswalk alone in March, was hit by an illegal right-turning vehicle and died.
