A woman died Thursday evening in the 17th arrondissement of Paris when a vehicle hit the terrace of a bar.

According to the first elements of the investigation, it is an accident.

Six injured, including one serious, are also to be deplored, including the passenger in the car.

The vehicle in question, whose driver seems to have lost control, rolled over before hitting the door of the "Sports Bar", located in the north-west of the capital, on rue Guy-Môquet.

"The vehicle was coming at a brisk pace and it rolled off," said Geoffroy Boulard. "A 35-year-old woman who was on the terrace unfortunately died. The driver of the car left running and another passenger in the car was evacuated to Beaujon hospital in absolute urgency." According to the witness, about ten chairs of the establishment were thrown to the ground, under the effect of the shock. Plots used to delimit the sidewalk were also knocked down.
