It is unfortunate that teenagers who failed the civil service examination conducted by the Busan Office of Education for students of specialized high schools made an extreme choice.

The bereaved family is protesting, saying that the cause was an administrative mistake that caused the message 'Congratulations on passing' to the student who failed the test.

Today (28th) around 2 am, about 10 family members of the A (19) army visited the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education to protest and returned home at around 4:15 am.

Group A failed, but it is known that in the process of checking his test results, he finally confirmed the fact that he failed after seeing the phrase 'Congratulations on passing' that appeared by mistake by the city office of education.

It is reported that the city office of education displayed the phrase 'passed' when unsuccessful students checked their grades for about 10 minutes when the results were announced at 10 am on the 26th.

An official from the City Office of Education explained, "There were no errors in the list of successful candidates, but at the bottom of the list, each test taker guided how to check their written test scores.

Group A is known to have made an extreme choice after visiting the city office of education on the day of the announcement and returning home after being told it was an 'administrative mistake'.

Group A did well in the written test, but it is said that the other students got better scores in the interview and were ultimately eliminated.

The city office of education said, "It is very regrettable that an unfortunate incident has occurred in relation to the selection of local public officials."
