A 50-year-old man who killed a neighbor's dog over loud barking is under investigation.

Jeollabuk-do Buan Police Station said that it is investigating a person in his 50s on charges of violating the Animal Protection Act.

A is suspected of killing two dogs next door using an electric battery in a residential area in Gyeokpo-myeon, Buan-gun on the 23rd.

Police explained that this battery is used to overfish in rivers and other places by sending a strong current of more than 600 volts in an instant.

Mr. B, who was away on the weekend, saw the dog he had been raising in the yard dead after returning home and reported it to the police.

The police caught Mr. A, who lives about 100 meters from Mr. B's house, through a nearby closed circuit (CC) TV.

Person A is known to have made a statement with the intention of acknowledging the crime, saying, "It was because the neighbor's dog barked and was noisy whenever people passed by."

A police official said, "There have never been any reports of dogs barking and noisy in the village." "We are investigating the specifics of the victims and suspects."
