Tech manufacturer LG presented three new versions of the Tone Free earphones on Monday: the FP5, FP8 and FP9.

The charging boxes of the two most expensive versions, the FP8 and FP9, are equipped with bactericidal UV LEDs.

No release date has been announced yet, but LG does report that they will be on sale soon.

The earphones work with bluetooth and can be used for Android and iOS devices.

In addition, they contain Headphone Spatial Processing.

The function causes the sound from the left and right earbuds to overlap, making it seem as if the sound is coming from multiple directions.

Like the previous versions, these earphones have active noise cancellation.

The wireless headset contains three microphones in each earpiece and has a 'whisper mode'.

This allows users to hold one of the earphones close to their mouth and whisper into it if they don't want to have a conversation out loud.

The earphones have a battery life of 8 hours and the case lasts 24 hours. The box of the FP8 can charge wirelessly and that of the FPG can serve as a bluetooth adapter. Furthermore, the ears appear in three colors: white, black and gold. The LG Tone Free FP5 will cost 129 euros, the FP8 costs 179 euros and the FP9 is asked for 199 euros.
