71 people were arrested in France on Saturday as part of the demonstrations against the health pass.

Some gatherings were indeed punctuated by incidents with the police and 68 people were taken into police custody. 

The demonstrations on Saturday against the health pass gave rise to 71 arrests, including 24 in Paris and 29 members of the police were injured, according to a count Sunday from the Ministry of the Interior.

The demonstrations brought together 161,000 people, including 11,000 in the capital, according to Beauvau.

A total of 68 people were taken into custody, we learned from a police source.

In Paris, 21 people were taken into custody, said the prosecution.

"27 police officers and two gendarmes were injured. No demonstrator was," added the Interior.

These demonstrations were punctuated by incidents between police officers and demonstrators in Lyon, Nantes, Toulouse and Paris, in particular on the Champs-Elysées after the dispersion.
