A 16-year-old suspect, known to the police, was arrested in the Doubs on Tuesday evening, Europe 1 learned. He could be the cause of the power cut which endangered the 3,500 doses of vaccine stored in a center in Audincourt.

A 16-year-old was arrested Tuesday evening in the case of the sabotaged vaccination center in Audincourt in the Doubs.

The young man is currently in police custody.

According to our information, he was arrested on his way back to the scene.

3,500 potentially compromised doses

Sunday, a vaccination center in Audincourt, near Montbéliard in the Doubs, was the target of a malicious act.

One or more people managed to cut the electricity to the building for more than an hour.

As a result, some 3,500 doses of vaccine that were in the refrigerators may have been lost.

Analyzes should be carried out to determine if they are still viable.
