Vejer de la Frontera company specializing in the sale and distribution of retinto meat, beef, Iberian pig and meat of larger game and fighting game, a year ago they bought seven oxen from Cádiz from the mythical Torrestrella cattle ranch.

"This type of animal is almost in extinction", explains Ignacio Díez, CEO of the brand.

"That's partly why their meat is so exclusive."

These days they have released the first limited edition of steaks, a delicious delicacy that sold out in hours.

"We have slaughtered the first three animals. The 98 steaks that we sell almost sold themselves," he says on the other end of the phone.

You can already reserve those for the next batch, which will be ready at the end of September.

a chamber maturation process of about 40 days

", so that you can get the best of the flavors and the best of the textures.

"It is a meat with a lot of infiltrated fat, very tender, and maturing in a chamber enhances the flavor", explains Díez.

The price is 72 euros / kg.

Beef is one of the most appreciated by carnivores.

There is a lot of cow sold as an ox,

" he says.

After the good reception of the product, they have already reached agreements with farmers to continue offering it.
