On board New Shepard, the flight was flown by the owner of Blue Origin, the richest man in the world Jeff Bezos, his brother, 82-year-old pilot Wally Funk and 18-year-old Dutchman Oliver Daman.

Funk became the oldest person to have been in space, and Damen was the youngest.

Blue Origin was broadcasting live.

The spacecraft launched from the spaceport near the city of Van Horn at 09:12 US East Coast time (16:12 Moscow time) and, having risen vertically, overcame an altitude of 100 km.

The capsule with people separated from the launch vehicle landed on the ground by parachutes.

The carrier also made a vertical landing on a special pad.

The flight lasted about 11 minutes. The control was carried out in automatic mode.
