A man in his twenties who cheated on his 20s, who was a beginner in society, by deceiving them by saying that he would give a profit if he invested in a youth support project, was arrested.

According to the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, 41 cases were reported by people in their 20s who said they were victims of fraud at two police stations in the Busan area.

There were 21 cases at the Haeundae Police Station and 20 cases at the Sasang Police Station, and the damage amounted to KRW 1.4 billion and KRW 1.3 billion, respectively.

The victims all pointed to A in their 20s as the perpetrator.

According to the police, Mr. A deceived and extorted money by saying that he would receive a profit if he invested in a youth support project targeting his peers who had been employed for about six months.

After attracting attention by saying, "You can receive 1 million to 2 million won in one year," he demanded that he take out a loan, saying that he needs money to participate in the business.

Mr. A drove a Porsche to make the victims believe it, and showed an ID with the address of a luxury apartment in Haeundae and a real bankbook with billions of won.

He gave them hundreds of thousands of won in the name of transportation expenses, and paid interest for a certain period of time, reassuring the victims, but cut off contact and disappeared.

It is known that Mr. A's fraud was not only in Busan, but also in Gyeongnam and the metropolitan area.

It was confirmed that the Gangseo Police Station in Seoul, which received a similar complaint and was investigating, recently arrested Mr. A and arrested him on the 17th.
