The Seoul Metropolitan Government has unveiled for the first time in Korea the appearance of Yongsan, which was devastated by the Yongsan bombing during the Korean War.
The video includes scenes from the US Air Force dropping bombs to the area around Yongsan Railway Maintenance Depot turned to ashes.
The materials to be released this time are the originals kept by the National Archives of the United States (NARA) and 17 edited videos and 80 photos.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government is planning to hold a special exhibition 'July 16, Yongsan' from the 17th (Sat) at the Yongsan Urban Memory Exhibition Hall to commemorate the 16th of July when the Yongsan bombing occurred.
