was confirmed that the police internally held the thread as 'no accusation' regarding Gyeonggi Province Governor Lee Jae-myung's 'Songnam FC bribery suspicion'

Seongnam FC corporation and Seongnam City Hall government officials' accounts were seized and searched, but no criminal charges were found in this branch.

The 'Seongnam FC bribery allegations' date back to 2015, when Lee served as the mayor of Seongnam.

The branch, who was the owner of 'Seongnam FC' at the time, attracted 16.5 billion won in donations from large corporations in the name of advertising expenses.

Doosan Group, Naver, and CHA Hospital, etc., were on the list of sponsors in Seongnam City, but an accusation came in three years later.

Ahead of the local elections in June 2018, the Bareunmirae Party accuses the party of 'this donation is the price the governor has provided for various conveniences to companies'.

The investigation into the allegation of bribery has been stagnant for four years, but in February, the police set up a dedicated team to speed up the investigation.

Recently, when the police sent a request for attendance to the governor, the governor protested that it was a political attack. It is expected that a final conclusion will be reached after a written investigation instead of a summons.

In response, the governor said that he saved the budget by attracting companies and hoped the police, who had been investigating the dust, would wake up.
