An elementary school student found in Jeollabuk-do 9 hours after disappearing in Daejeon was found to have run away because he was afraid of his friend's older sister.

The Daejeon Jungbu Police Station announced today (13th) that they found Miss A with two runaway teenagers on the street in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, around 6:50 pm on the 12th.

According to the police investigation, Miss A had a fight with a schoolmate on the 9th.

But after a while, a friend's older sister from the same school came to me and asked, "Why did you fight with my younger brother?"

Miss A said, "I'm going to school" on the morning of the 12th, the first day she went to school after this incident, and left, but disappeared as it was.

Parents of both parents, who found out about this at 9:30 am, filed a missing person report to the police.

The Daejeon Police Department is tracking the location of Miss A's cell phone, while sending an 'Emergency Message for Missing Alert' for the first time in the Daejeon area.

The disappearance alert emergency text message is a system that transmits information, including photos of missing children, via text messages to mobile phones in order to facilitate public reporting in the event of a missing person, and has been in effect since June 9 of this year.

After confirming that Miss A was in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, the Daejeon Police took action to find and protect Miss A's recruits at the Jeonju Police Station.

When she was discovered by the police, Miss A was wandering the streets of Jeonju with runaway teenagers she knew through SNS.

Ms. A said to the police, "I didn't want to go to school because I was afraid that my friend's sister would scold me if I went to school."

It was found that there were no criminal charges.

The police said, "We have secured a golden time for solving the case by cooperating with local governments and other local police officers."

Daejeon Police Commissioner Song Jeong-ae said, "The citizens showed a lot of interest, so fortunately, we were able to find the child early." .

This is a 'news pick'.
