Suspicions have been raised that the head of the Air Force Headquarters Military Police Department ordered the reduction of the sexual assault and death of a female non-commissioned officer to a simple death case.

The Military Human Rights Center held a press conference at the Mapo-gu office in Seoul today (21st) and said on the 23rd of last month, the day after the incident, "The Air Force Headquarters Military Police Group wrote that the victim of sexual harassment was dead in the incident report to be submitted to the Ministry of National Defense, but the military police chief prevented this." claimed.

The Military Human Rights Center said, "The military police chief instructed the working-level staff to delete the fact that they were victims of sexual harassment four times."

The center urged that the audit of the leadership should be turned into an investigation, saying, "The investigation command line was deliberate and covered up the case."

The Military Center also claimed that the head of the 20th Fighter Wing's investigation division wrote a report stating that after investigating only the victims on March 5, right after the sexual harassment incident, the perpetrators were to be detained.

The center pointed out, "It's like an investigation was made with guidelines," and pointed out, "It's not easy to make such a strange judgment on the front line without external pressure."

The center insisted, "The head of the Air Force Headquarters military police should be arrested and investigated for false reporting, and the investigation command line should be fully investigated."

Victim Lee Sgt. Lee was sexually harassed by her senior mother-in-law Sergeant Major on March 2, and reported it immediately the next day, but was found dead on the 22nd of last month after suffering secondary damage such as conciliation and pressure.
