A 20-year-old man, who was assaulted by his friends, went to his house in Daegu and filed a complaint.

However, at the end of March, two friends went directly to Daegu to bring Mr. A to Seoul.

Those who harbored resentment repeatedly abused Mr. A, such as locking him in the bathroom and giving him little food.

It also interfered with the police investigation.

The detective in charge called Mr. A to investigate the case, but he made him say, "I am not in Seoul, so I cannot receive the investigation," or he did not answer the phone at all.

I also ordered the police to send a 'withdrawal of the complaint' text.

When the son could not be reached, the family of A filed another missing person report to the Daegu police.

However, the Seoul Yeongdeungpo Police Station, which was investigating the assault case, did not even know that he had reported the disappearance.

Because there was no coordination at all.

[Daegu Dalseong Police Station official: (It was possible to speculate about the possibility of being subjected to such harsh treatment from friends. I wish I could have done that part too.]

Reporting the disappearance was useless, and the investigation into the assault case was terminated due to insufficient evidence, and Mr. A died while trapped in the house.

It is said that the suspects made statements to the effect that they tried to take advantage of victims with low intelligence in the police investigation.

The police are considering whether to apply the charges of retaliatory murder to the two friends under the Special Act.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency started investigating four people, including a detective in charge of the Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul, who just closed the case.
