Two men in their 20s have been arrested on charges of detaining and killing a friend who lived with them.

Yesterday (15th), the Seoul Western District Court issued an arrest warrant for friends B and C, who were accused of killing a man in his 20s, saying, "There is a risk of destroying evidence and escaping."

The deceased was found naked in an officetel in Yeonnam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul around 6 am on the 13th.

When paramedics and the police arrived at the scene after receiving the 911 call, Mr. A was already dead and weighed only 34 kg due to malnutrition, and old bruises and traces of straps were found on his body.

Person A is said to have had difficulties in daily life, such as stuttering and making defecation errors.

The police determined that A and his friends B and C, who lived together in the officetel, were suspected of a crime, and arrested them urgently.

B and C, who attended the warrant substantive examination in the morning, did not answer reporters' questions such as 'Do you admit to the murder of a friend', 'What was the background of even reporting it yourself', and 'Why were you imprisoned?'

The police plan to request an autopsy of the body from the National Institute of Scientific Investigation to determine the cause of death of Mr. A, while investigating the exact circumstances of the incident against Mr. B and Mr. C.
