The first trial will be held on the 10th to determine whether the disciplinary action was justified in relation to the two-month suspension of former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol by then Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae at the end of last year.

It has been 6 months since the suspension of 2 months was imposed.

The 12th Administrative Division of the Seoul Administrative Court (Judge Jeong Yong-seok) is scheduled to hold a hearing preparation date on the 10th for a lawsuit filed by former President Yoon against the Minister of Justice for cancellation of disciplinary measures.

The preparatory date for pleading is the process of confirming the arguments and positions of both sides and discussing the plan of proof in preparation for formal pleading.

It appears that former President Yoon will not be present.

Previously, the Ministry of Justice announced that former Minister Choo Mi-ae excluded then Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol from his duties in November of last year and imposed a two-month suspension in December of the same year.

The reasons for the disciplinary action put forward by the Ministry of Justice include charges of obstructing the investigation of the Channel A case by instructing former President Yoon to prepare and distribute an 'analytical document' that collected personal information of judges of major courts.

In response, former President Yoon applied for suspension of execution (suspension of effect) for the exclusion of duties and disciplinary measures, and received the decision to cite them all, and also filed a lawsuit on the merits to cancel the disposition.

When deciding whether to suspend execution, the main issue was whether there was a risk of irreparable damage from disciplinary action.

Whether the disciplinary action was justified is expected to be the main issue in this case.

On the other hand, the former President Yoon's side argues that the reasons for the disciplinary action presented by the Ministry of Justice are different from the facts and are procedurally illegal and unfair, while the Ministry of Justice maintains that the former President Yoon had 'serious misconduct'.
