Son Jeong-min's father, a medical student who disappeared in the Han River and was found dead, questioned the police investigation, saying, "Some of the police's announcement of the progress of the investigation is different from the information reported by witnesses." rebutted.

Son posted an article titled 'Briefing with Witnesses' on his blog, saying, "I contacted two witnesses who directly reported it on the 11th and obtained a photo taken around 2:18 a.m. on the day of the disappearance." After receiving a request, I went to the police and made a statement.”

In this photo, Son Jung-min, who died, is lying on his side on the lawn while drunk, and friend A, who drank with him, is squatting next to Jung-min with a bag.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said in a press briefing on the 27th, "The witness who submitted the photo stated that it was a scene where A was sleeping next to Jungmin, packing his luggage and shaking Jungmin to wake him up."

However, his father, Son, was skeptical of the police's announcement, and contacted the witness again and revealed the text messages exchanged with him, revealing that the witness said, "The police made a precise statement, but the transmission was a bit wrong."

He added, "I was able to see how the testimony of the witnesses was distorted when the police announced it. Since we can't meet the rest of the witnesses, of course, there can be no assurance that the statement is correct, and there is no choice but to raise doubts."

In response, the police issued a short statement late at night and said, "Related to the claim that the police announcement about the photo taken by a witness at 2:18 a.m. on the day of the disappearance is different from what the survivors heard from the witness, the police's announcement was confirmed through eyewitness investigation. We inform you that it has been done.”
