Yesterday (14th) of the 681 new confirmed cases, 661 were domestic outbreaks, excluding 20 foreign patients.
By region, 437 people were confirmed in the metropolitan area, including 253 people in Seoul and 168 in Gyeonggi Province, and 224 people came out from non-metropolitan areas, including 38 in Gyeongnam.
Among the major group infection cases, 47 have been confirmed since the 11th in relation to a meat processing company in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, and 14 have been infected at work in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
In Gyeongnam, 15 people were confirmed in connection with the celebration of the end of Ramadan in Gimhae.
The Gangwon Provincial Office and Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority also came out with confirmed cases.
