Four people arrested after the death of Eric Masson

This weekend, a municipal police crew was attacked, especially in Rillieux-la-Pape.

Three years ago, the 8th arrondissement of Lyon was part of the first 15 Republican Reconquest Quarters (QRR), a system launched at the national level to fight in particular against drug trafficking by allocating more police resources.

Eric Masson, 36, called with his team last Wednesday for a gathering on a deal point in downtown Avignon, was shot dead by a man who immediately fled with an accomplice.

Four people suspected of being linked to the murder were arrested in total on Sunday evening, Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin announced on Monday.
