A reinforced investigation by the prosecution was revealed by a prosecutor's reinforcement investigation of the situation where a father in his twenties, who was in critical condition due to a brain hemorrhage, threw his daughter at a motel in Incheon on a table.

The Incheon District Prosecutor's Office of Women and Children's Crime Investigation Department (Chief Prosecutor Hee-kyung Kim) announced today (7th) that it has convicted A (27) on charges of child abuse serious injury, child abuse under the Child Welfare Act, and injury under the Special Cases Act on the Punishment of Child Abuse Crime .

Mr. A is accused of seriously injuring his head by abusing his two-month-old daughter B in a motel room in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon at around 11:30 pm on the 12th of last month.

At the time, it was investigated that Mr. A grabbed sheep B, shaken it strongly, and threw it on a wooden table.

As a result of the prosecution's reinforcement investigation, it was further confirmed that Mr. A dropped Miss B, who had not ceased to cry in the motel room between the end of March and early April of this year, on a wooden table.

He was found to have thrown Ms. B again on the wooden table on the 12th of last month, a few days later, despite extensive subdural bleeding on the front and sides of Ms. B's head at the time.

She had a blue-skinned cyanosis in her arms and legs, and bleeding in her nose.

Mr. A's wife, 22, who was not in the motel room at the time, was wanted for a nomination for fraud and was arrested and detained by the police six days before the incident, and was released after being sentenced to two years probation in the last four months of imprisonment.

Immediately after the emergency arrest, Mr. A, who denied the alleged abuse, confessed in a later police investigation, "(After my wife was arrested, I was caring for two children in a motel alone).

However, he stated that the child's head was hitting the wooden table, although he was not thrown very hard enough to throw it away.

Mrs. A, who had moved to several motels in Bupyeong-gu since last summer, had a hard time receiving emergency livelihood support, and in February of this year, she gave birth to Ms. B at a motel.

Ms. B, who is being treated in an intensive care unit at a hospital in Incheon, has recently regained consciousness and has improved her health enough to breathe on her own.

The 19-month-old brother of Miss B, who was left alone after the incident, was moved to a nursery facility in Incheon.
