From 10 am tomorrow (6th), advance reservations for seniors aged 70 to 74 (born 1947 to 1956) will be vaccinated against the Corona 19 AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine.

Tae-ho Yoon, head of the quarantine prevention department at the Central Accident Control Headquarters (heavy water version), introduced a reservation policy for vaccinating the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine for the elderly aged 60 to 74 for two months from May to June at a regular briefing today.

By age, vaccinations are given from the 27th of this month to the 19th of the following month for 65-74 years old, and the 7th to 19th of the following month for 60-64-year-olds (born in 1957-1961).

Advance reservations for this can be made sequentially from 10 am on the 6th.

Seniors aged 70-74 can make reservations from the 6th, 65-69 years old from the 10th, and 60-64 years old from the 13th.

You can select the desired vaccination date and location through the online pre-reservation website (https://ncvr.kdca.go.kr), the Centers for Infectious Diseases of the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (☎1339), or call centers operated by local governments.

Seniors who have difficulty in making online reservations can directly visit the Eup, Myeon-dong Community Service Center for help.

Each community center plans to provide support so that people who are eligible for vaccination can make reservations when they visit the community center with their ID card and mobile phone in their own name.

"If you make an appointment first, you can get the vaccination at any time and place you want," he said. "As an agent can make a reservation through the nurijip, your family and relatives should help the elderly to schedule vaccinations."

In addition to the elderly, people with chronic severe respiratory illness can also make advance reservations from the morning of the 6th.

"In Korea, 95% of the corona19 deaths were elderly people aged 60 years or older, but vaccination significantly lowers the risk of the elderly caused by Corona 19," he said. "Vaccination targets should reserve a schedule and receive vaccination on the scheduled date." Requested.

"The risk of thrombosis that can occur from AstraZeneca vaccination is very unlikely and most of them are treatable," Yun said.

"Additional thrombosis from vaccines is much lower than the risk of thrombosis from taking oral contraceptives, and is similar to'Economy Syndrome' caused by long-distance flights," he added.
