The younger brother of a woman who died as a suspect who was abandoned in an agricultural waterway in Ganghwa-do, Incheon after stabbing a woman in her 30s with a weapon was caught by the police.



The Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency's investigation team announced today (29th) that he arrested Mr. A in his late 20s on charges of murder and abandonment of the body.



Mr. A is accused of being abandoned in a farming waterway in Samsan-myeon, Ganghwa-gun, Incheon City, after stabbing his sister B several times with a weapon.



The police identified Mr. A as a suspect based on the details of his mobile phone and financial transactions in the process of investigating the people around him, and arrested him near Andong, Gyeongbuk at around 4:39 pm



A police official said, "We have arrested the suspect by executing an arrest warrant issued by the court," and said, "We will investigate the exact motive of the crime."



Earlier, Mr. B was discovered by a nearby resident after being stabbed several times in a farming waterway in Samsan-myeon around 2:15 pm on the 21st.



Unmarried at 158 ​​cm tall, he was barefoot at the time of discovery, and was floating prostrate on the water in a 1.5m deep farming water.



As a result of the investigation, Mr. B was identified as an outsider who did not live on Ganghwa Island, and was found to have lived with his family in the metropolitan area.



After an autopsy of Mr. B's body, the National Institute for Scientific Investigation revealed the first verbal finding that "the death is damage to the aorta caused by a weapon."
