"She was a lovely woman"

"This means that this kind of attack can happen anywhere," said the mayor of Rambouillet. In the residential area where the police station is located, residents are confused. "She was a lovely woman, incredibly kind and has children of unfathomable kindness according to my wife. I know a lot of people in the police station. I can't speak because I am so angry." explains Michel, a local resident whose wife works in the police station targeted by the attack. His wife is the victim's best friend.

The assailant was unknown to police and intelligence. The anti-terrorism prosecution took up the investigation. The man would have made several locations before going on the attack. He would also have shouted "Allah Akbar", at the time of the facts. Prime Minister Jean Castex went there and denounced a "barbaric gesture of infinite cowardice". According to information from Europe 1, security in front of the police stations and the gendarmerie will be reinforced.
