The police initiated a forced investigation in connection with the suspicion of bribery by employees of the Seoul Housing and Urban Corporation (SH Corporation).
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's anti-corruption public crime investigation unit said that it has been seizing and searching three places, including the headquarters and regional center of Gangnam SH Corporation in Seoul from the morning of today (23rd).
The police are known to have initiated a forced investigation after obtaining information that incumbent SH Corporation employees handed over inside information to local real estate and took advantage in return.
Police believe that there are at least three incumbent employees who are suspicious of the allegations, and they are sending investigators to the SH headquarters department in charge and the regional center where the employees work for seizure and search.
