A court battle over the second government's denial of entry for singer Yoo Seung-jun and US name Steve Yu will begin in June.

The 5th division of the administration of the Seoul Administrative Court decided to open the first date of pleading for the cancellation of the disposition of rejection of passport and visa issued by Mr. Yoo against the Consulate General of Los Angeles on June 3 at 3:30 pm.

Yoo, who was determined to be active after a physical examination, was controversial about evading military service by promising to enlist and acquiring U.S. citizenship, and was restricted from entering the country in 2002 by the Ministry of Justice.

He filed a lawsuit when he tried to enter Korea on an overseas Korean visa and was denied, and won the final appeal at the Supreme Court in March last year.

However, when the Consulate General of Los Angeles refused to issue a visa again, it filed a lawsuit against the Consulate General of Los Angeles to cancel the disposition.

Mr. Yoo is continuing his protest through YouTube, including a strong protest against the military service avoidance bill initiated by Democratic Party Rep. Kim Byeong-ju last year and the remarks of the Military Manpower Administration.
