Amid the growing risk of coronavirus infection-19 '4th epidemic', hundreds of people who had been gathered in a club in Gangnam, Seoul were caught violating the quarantine rules.

The Seoul Suseo Police Department arrested about 200 people, including employees and customers, at an unauthorized club in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul at about 9:25 pm on the 10th, and arrested the current offender for violating the Food Sanitation Act.

According to the police, the establishment was registered as a general restaurant, but it was operated in the form of a club, such as installing sound equipment and special lighting, and a situation where guests did not follow detailed quarantine regulations, such as wearing masks or distancing them, was detected.

The competent ward office that cracked down with the police will impose a fine for violating the Infectious Disease Prevention Act on those caught.

The police said that they were dispatched to the scene after receiving 112 reports that hundreds of people gathered in the coronavirus to dance, and that more than 50 people, including competent police officers and riot police, were put into crackdown.

During the crackdown process, some guests are known to have complained about the grounds for the crackdown.

However, it is reported that some of the other guests left their seats because of the quarantine-level anxiety before the crackdown.

The police said that they will actively respond to violations of the quarantine regulations as the spread of Corona 19 is serious, and a ban on gatherings at entertainment facilities in the metropolitan area has been announced from tomorrow.
