At 3:33 am on the 23rd of last month, a fire engine arrives after receiving a report that a fire broke out in Taean's new port.

There was an urgent situation, such as something constantly exploding on the ship, but the fire engine ran out of water in 13 minutes.

After about 10 minutes, the water was supplied again, but in the meantime, the fire continued to ride on the boat that was tied next to it and spread farther.

Fishermen claimed that the 119 could not spray water, and the coast guard caused the damage by not releasing the boat tied with rope.

[Lee Han-hyung / Victim fishermen: I should have pulled out the vessel that caught fire for the first time, or took measures to take the ships next to it, but I didn't do it.]

In addition, there is a dedicated pier in which a number of offshore vessels moored in Shinjin Port, but a small patrol boat 1 It was also pointed out that only Chuck was caught and was a passive response.

The fire started in Sinjin Port, but the fire moved to Mado Port, about 300-400m away.

The raft on fire was pushed by the wind, and fishermen claim that this would not have happened even if the fence was properly installed at the time.

The fire burned 28 ships, including 19 at Sinjin Port and 9 at Mado Port, among which 10 were sunk.

[Marine Police: There is clearly a difficult part about why we couldn't break (the rope tied to the boat) in the situation where fire extinguishing and protective equipment was also inadequate.] As the

coast guard started salvaging the sinking ship today (1st), the cause of the fire and Follow-up procedures, such as calculating the size of the damage, were initiated, and the head of the Taean Coast Guard was struck.
