Incheon Michuhol-gu mayor Kim Jeong-sik was subjected to a police investigation on charges of'sexual harassment' because of a comment posted on social media.
The Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency's Women and Youth Investigation Unit said that a complaint from a woman A asking for punishment of Kim Gu for sexual violence crimes and other charges was filed on the 26th.
Mr. A wrote a comment on social media saying, "The treatment chemistry seems to be well suited, so the name", and Mr. Kim said, "You should only match the treatment chemistry" to this comment.
Mr. A complained to Mayor Kim that the comment was offensive, and may immediately apologize, but Mr. A filed a complaint saying, "I feel assaulted and I do not feel the sincerity of the apology."
The police will investigate the accused Mr. A sooner or later and summon Chief Kim Gu to confirm the facts.
