<Anchor> At the

end of last year, a complaint was filed at an affiliated institution in Seoul stating that a female employee was sexually harassed.

After investigating, the city of Seoul concluded that sexual harassment was correct.

However, even now, five months later, no follow-up measures, including disciplinary action, have been taken.

This is an exclusive report by reporter Han Ji-yeon.

In 2018, Mr. A, who served as the Democratic Party Regional Committee Chairman, was appointed as a standing auditor at a subsidiary in Seoul.

However, in November of last year, a complaint that Mr. A sexually harassed a female employee was filed with the institution's Human Resources Development Institute.

Mr. A was excluded from his job in accordance with the Public Officials Act on Sexual Offenders, but five months later, the disciplinary procedure has not been in progress and the salary is being paid.

In January, the Seoul Metropolitan Government Human Rights Violation Relief Committee concluded'sexual harassment' through the first deliberation on this case.

The committee notified the agency of its conclusions, but the Seoul Metropolitan Government and its affiliates are delaying disciplinary action.

[Seoul-si subsidiary officials: We are interpreting the personnel actions as those with the right to appoint and dismiss.

(Who appoints and dismisses the standing auditor?) I am the head of a local government.

(This is what the mayor of Seoul does?) Yes.

Head of the group.]

[Seoul City officials: The city of Seoul does not have the right to personnel directly, and each person greets them (within the subsidiary).

Affiliated agencies are given personnel rights at affiliated agencies.]

Mr. A is in a position that he cannot accept the conclusion of the Seoul Metropolitan Government Committee on'sexual harassment'.

[Mr. A / Former executive auditor of the subsidiary of Seoul City: It's really unfair.

For reference, (I) have no party.

Maybe something will affect the election...

.] The

victim has moved to another department and is working.

Within the institution, the by-election of the mayor of Seoul is approaching, and there are even suspicions that Mr. A's terms of office will be dragging down the personnel measures as the term of this year's November is short.

[Kim Hye-joo/Attorney: It's been over 5 months since the (sexual harassment case) was filed, but it doesn't make sense that even discipline has not been imposed.

I have doubts that it was intentionally delayed before the election.]

Last year, 10 cases were reported for sexual harassment in Seoul and its affiliates.

Six of these cases still have no follow-up measures, such as disciplinary action.
