Eun-young Kim of Hanam City Council in Gyeonggi, where ``a suspicion of land speculation in the name of his mother'' was raised on the 23rd I did.



The Special Investigation Unit for real estate speculators at the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency has been seizing and searching at the office and home of Rep. Kim's Hanam City Council from 10:15 am.



Congressman Kim's mother bought 3,509m2 of land in 4 lots in Cheonhyeon-dong for 6 months from April 2017.



Since then, the land was incorporated into the new city of Gyosan, and at the end of December last year, it received a compensation of 800,000 won per 3.3 square meters, leaving a margin of about twice as much.



The police are securing related data on the day to see if there was any illegal activity involving Congressman Kim.



Earlier, Hanam City conducted a recent on-site investigation on 2,477㎡ of 4 lots in Cheonhyeon-dong in the name of Congressman Kim's husband, confirmed that it was illegally transformed, and filed a complaint with the police for violating the Special Measures Act on Designation and Management of Restricted Development Zones. .



The land purchased by Congressman Kim's husband in August 2007 is a green belt forest, but it has been illegally cleared and is used as a field.



The local real estate industry expects this land to be close to the Gyosan New Town, which will result in significant market gains.



When this suspicion arose, Congressman Kim withdrew from the Democratic Party, which was his political party.



A police official said, "We are searching and seizure to secure data to confirm the allegations that have risen recently, but we cannot disclose detailed allegations as investigations are underway."
