Former US President Donald Trump wants to make his return to social media soon.

He's been working on his own platform for some time, his advisor Jason Miller told

According to Miller, the shift will be there in two to three months.

The adviser said he could not provide further information about Trump's ambitions with social media.

Trump is said to have had in-depth consultations about this at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

Numerous companies would also have approached the former president about a social media platform.

Twitter was the former president's means of communication for many years.

He communicated mostly through his private account with 90 million followers until the tech company suspended that account and later blocked it due to Trump's role in storming parliament on January 6.
