Last night, at around 10:30 on the Dangjin-Yeongdeok Expressway, at a point 2km in front of the Songnisan Interchange in the direction of Yeongdeok, five trucks, including a 25-ton trailer, and three passenger cars collided one after another.



In this accident, two people, including a man in his 70s in a car, were taken to the hospital, but died, and six were injured.



Once determined that it was not caused by drunk driving, the police are investigating the exact cause of the accident, including the possibility of drowsy driving.

At around 9:50 last night, a policeman in his 50s was hit by a car and suffered a major injury at an apartment complex in Wansan-gu, Jeonju-si, Jeonbuk.

Firefighters look around a completely burnt house.



A fire broke out on the second floor of a four-story multi-family house in Daedeok-gu, Daejeon, around 2:40 this morning.



The fire went out in 30 minutes, but a mother in her 50s and her 15-year-old son in the house died, and three residents upstairs were also taken to the hospital after drinking smoke.
