A voice actor from the KBS Voice Actor Theater assaulted a partner in his residence and ran away, but was caught by the police.
The Seoul Dongdaemun Police Department said that it is investigating the suspicion of special assault on Mr. Jo, who is in his 50s, belonging to the KBS Voice Actor Theater.
Cho is accused of strangling and assaulting A, a woman in her 40s who lives with her in an apartment in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, at around 6:30 pm on the 4th, and lighting paper on fire and threatening to set fire.
Immediately after the crime, Mr. Jo was reported and ran away from the police, but was eventually caught.
The police are separating Mr. Jo from the victim as an emergency temporary measure and investigating the exact details of the crime.
