However, as group infections that are difficult to track, such as family and acquaintance meetings and workplaces, are spreading in various places, the size of the confirmed cases can be increased at any time.



In connection with acquaintance meetings in Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do and Buk-gu, Daegu, two confirmed cases were added, and the cumulative number of confirmed cases increased to 12 and 34, respectively.



In particular, in the metropolitan area, an average of 295 patients occurred per day last week, which is 80% of all patients.



Yesterday, the number of vaccinations was around 17,000, which is 25% of the weekdays.



The cumulative number of vaccinations is 314,000, which is 0.61% of the total population in Korea.



The number of cases reported because of suspected adverse reactions after vaccination was added to 806 yesterday, recording a total of 3,689 cases.



The number of death reports increased by two to nine.



The two were women in their 50s and 60s who were admitted to a nursing hospital, and both had underlying diseases, the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.



Health authorities today release their interim conclusions on reported deaths and serious adverse events after vaccination and their causality with the vaccine.
