A courier worker who was in charge of late-night work was found dead.

The Courier Solidarity Union said his aunt, 48, who was in charge of late-night and early-morning delivery at Coupang Songpa 1 camp, died.

According to the union, Lee came up to Seoul with his children and spouse in the province to make money, and was living alone in a Gosiwon in Seoul.

After receiving a report from his spouse saying that Mr. Lee was not in contact, the police mobilized to find him at Gosiwon.

Mr. Lee joined Coupang as a contract worker last year and has been converted to a full-time job.

Mr. Lee is known to have complained of the difficulties of working late at night to his spouse from time to time.

The union said, "The wage of the deceased is 2.8 million won per month, which is just above the minimum wage, considering that he is dedicated to late-night labor."

On this day, the police conduct an autopsy to clarify Lee's death.

The courier union is scheduled to hold a press conference at 2 pm on the 8th in front of the head office in Coupang, Songpa-gu, Seoul, condemning that excessive late-night delivery has led to Lee's overwork.
