A surrogate article who robbed a drunk customer's expensive luxury wallet and millions of dollars in cash was handed over to the prosecution under arrest.



The South Korean police station in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, said that a 42-year-old man, A, a proxy knight accused of theft, was recently arrested and sent to prosecutors.



Mr. A is accused of stealing about 3 million won worth of money, such as wallet and cash, after parking a customer's vehicle in an apartment complex in Namyangju in the early morning of June 5 last year.



Police arrested Mr. A on the 18th of last month, about eight months after the crime was committed through CCTV tracking.



The police applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A, who denied the allegations, and the court issued a warrant on the 19th of last month for reasons such as fear of escape.



The police, who handed over Mr. A to the prosecution on the 24th of last month, are constantly investigating whether Mr. A committed any crimes against other customers.
