A suspect who escaped from a gym in Gangnam, Seoul by stealing a safe containing over 100 million won was caught while driving drunk and violently in Busan.
According to the Haeundae Police Station, etc., on the 28th at around 2:33 am, a report was received that a vehicle suspected of drinking alcohol was violently driving at the intersection of Jangsan Station in Jwa-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan.
As a result of confirmation by the police who dispatched, driver A was intoxicated at the level of license cancellation.
The police arrested Mr. A on suspicion of drunk driving and was investigated by the district university, and confirmed that he was a suspect who stole a safe containing more than 100 million won from a gym in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 25th of last month.
Mr. A even posted on his social network service (SNS) the image of stealing the safe and running away to Busan and wasting his cash for entertainment expenses.
After confirming this, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station was tracking Mr. A in Busan.
The Haeundae Police Department is planning to take over Mr. A to the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul and conduct further investigations on the alleged drunk driving in the future.
