There was tension from early in the morning at the Bupyeong-gu Health Center in Incheon City, where the Corona 19 vaccination began today (26th).

Public health center officials moved the vaccine from AstraZeneca (AZ), which was transferred yesterday and stored in a refrigerator dedicated to vaccines in the public health center, to the vaccination room on the first floor of the public health center.

Starting at 8:30 am today, people who have made a reservation in advance came to the public health center to check for fever, etc.

The first target for vaccination that started at 9 am was Kim Rak-hwan, 45, the head of a nursing home facility in Samsan-dong, Bupyeong-gu.

Mr. Kim received the vaccine through an interview, such as whether he had any pain or allergies.

Mr. Kim explained, "After the vaccination, I was stiff for about 15 minutes, and then I had a little dizziness." "After about 17 minutes, the stiffness and dizziness disappeared."

“Everyone may have fear of vaccination, but I hope everyone gets well,” he said. “It is a difficult situation, such as a business that has been closed even in a building with a nursing home, but I hope that the vaccine will end (Corona 19).”

The vaccination at the public health center went smoothly without any special issues.

Those who received the vaccination waited for 20 to 30 minutes at the public health center to check for any abnormal reactions and then returned home.

Lee Gyeong-ja (60), a nursing home care professional in a nursing home in Galsan-dong, Bupyeong-gu, who received the vaccine for the second time at a public health center said, "Because it is my job to serve the elderly, I have been waiting for the vaccination." I hope I get the vaccination with confidence."

The Bupyeong-gu Health Center received 1,100 vaccines yesterday and plans to complete the vaccination for 160-200 people today.

In Incheon, a total of 20 medical institutions, including 10 nursing hospitals, as well as 10 local health centers such as Bupyeong-gu Health Center, received vaccination.
