Ahn Mo, who was sentenced to impunity for abuse of a 16-month-old adopted child, Jung In-yang, submitted a reflection statement to the court stating, "I will be subject to any punishment."

According to Ahn's lawyer on the 26th, in a reflection statement sent to the Seoul Southern District Law the previous day, Ahn said, "The reason I failed to protect my child is entirely because of my irresponsibility and carelessness."

He said, "Why did I think it wasn't a big deal about the strange things I saw so well around me during the trial," he said. "I dismissed my sincere worries as just prejudice or excessive attention, and only listened to my wife and was urgently covered." I wrote.

“I had several chances to save my child, but I never made use of that opportunity,” he said. “Especially the day before the accident, even if I took my child only to the emergency room, I feel guilty that the precious life would not have died out.” I did.

Ahn adopted and raised his wife, Jang-mo and Jung In-i, knowing that Jang was abused or neglected, and neglected it, and was handed over to trial on charges of participating in some abuse.

In the first trial, Ahn's lawyer admitted that he had neglected the duty to protect the child as a parent, but explained that "I didn't deliberately neglect the child, and I thought it was important to feed the child well at home rather than taking it to the hospital." .

However, Ahn took the death of Jung In Yang at his own responsibility in the reflection.

He said, "Even though I made a tremendous mistake, I avoided responsibility and even said that it was unfair to be misunderstood, so I didn't qualify as a human being." I did.

He added, "As time goes by, I'm so annoyed and sorry that I've been reminded of things I didn't do well to my child," he added. "I'll take any punishment sweetly."
