The Seoul City Mayor's Council has announced that it will provide a disaster support fund worth 500 billion won in cooperation with the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

Lee Dong-jin, head of Dobong-gu, chairman of the council, said, "We will raise funds of 200 billion won in 25 autonomous districts, and at the same time request the Seoul Metropolitan Government to organize subsidies over the size of the autonomous districts."

Dobong-gu said that the city of Seoul has decided to pay 300 billion won.

The council reported that there was an opinion that the amount of financial resources for each autonomous district should be discussed separately, but the amount paid should not differ between autonomous districts.

As for the payment timing, we are reviewing a plan to connect according to the government's 4th disaster subsidy detailed plan.

A method for selecting the payment target was proposed.

Businesses that were excluded from the government's 4th subsidy and those with a large economic damage from Corona 19 will be reviewed.
