In the process of receiving an urgent report and dispatching that the police are being "threatened with a weapon," they did not share key information related to the reporter's location, resulting in a late arrival at the scene.

When the police arrived late, the reporter had already died, and the police are monitoring the response process.

The South Gyeonggi Police Agency recently announced the results of an interim investigation into the response process of the murder case in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi-do on the 24th.

According to the results of the investigation, on the 17th at 0:49, an agent receiving report 112 from the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency filed a report saying, "This person is trying to kill me with a knife."

The receptionist asked the reporter's location, and the reporter replied, "I don't know. It's Gwangmyeong, but it's ○○○'s house."

○○○ is the name of the reporter A (40s, female) and B (50s, male), whom she usually knew, and the receptionist judged that it was an emergency while talking to A for 42 seconds about this content. 'Code Zero' has been issued.

Code Zero is the highest level of emergency police manual issued in case of suspected kidnapping, confinement, murder, robbery, etc., and is immediately disseminated to the relevant police station to provide support for work such as on-site dispatch.

In this case, when the receptionist issued Code Zero, the ordering agent reported the situation to the Gwangmyeong Police Station. In the process, it was investigated that the name of Mr. B mentioned by Mr. A was omitted.

At that time, 21 police officers from Gwangmyeong Police Station were dispatched to the location that the receptionist confirmed through Mr. A's mobile phone location inquiry, but failed to find the site quickly because the exact address was not known.

Mr. A's mobile phone has a satellite positioning system (GPS) turned off, so the receptionist propagated the location of the location obtained through the base station and Wi-Fi location.

The error range of location inquiry using base station and Wi-Fi is 50-100m. In this case, there were 660 households in the range.

As the police officers delayed on-site confirmation, the Gwangmyeong Police Station 112 situation room re-checked the report phone call received by the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency receptionist, and noticed that Mr. B's name was missing.

Immediately after checking Mr. B's address, it appeared as a nearby house, and police officers arrived at the scene at 1:40 a.m., 50 minutes after receiving the report, but Mr. A was murdered by Mr. B.

At the time, Mr. B asked Mr. A to "don't meet other men," and it was investigated that Mr. A was arguing when he said his intention to refuse.

Then, while he went out to smoke, Mr. A misunderstood that Mr. A, who reported to the police, called another man, and infuriated him and killed Mr. A with a blunt and weapon.

Based on the condition of Mr. A's body and Mr. B's statement, the police believe that Mr. A died immediately after making a call, but if the officers arrived at the scene quickly, there is a possibility that Mr. A survived. It is a position to proceed.

A police official said, "It seems that the receptionist and the commander were trying to spread the situation in a hurry while they were inexperienced at work." I said.

Meanwhile, A's bereaved family posted a post on the Blue House National Petition Bulletin, saying, "The police, who are obligated to protect the lives and property of the people, did not perform their duties properly" and demanded punishment and apology for the police officers.
