Apple will release two new MacBook Pro models in the second half of 2021. These will be equipped with features that were lacking since 2016, namely an HDMI port and an SD card reader, reports the specialized site

Mac Rumors

.

An analyst pointed out last month that the two computers with extended connectivity would have 14- and 16-inch screens.

Apple released Mac Book Pros late last year.

If they had the new Apple Silicon chips, the connectivity offered by laptops was however identical to previous models.

It was in 2016 that the American giant changed the design of the Mac Book Pro by putting aside the HDMI port and the SD card reader.

Features will disappear

Other new features are planned on these two devices, the design of which will evolve.

Thus, we will see the return of the classic MagSafe charging connector with a separable power cable, the disappearance of the Touch Bar, and an edge to edge screen, notes the media.

According to information relayed by a Bloomberg journalist, a redesign of the MacBook Air should also take place.

However, it will take longer before these changes are made.
